Veolia Water has established a joint venture with TEDA Investment and Holdings. This joint venture has concluded a 20-year contract for the operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant in the TEDA (Technical and Economic Development Area) industrial zone in Tianjin.

TEDA is a major industrial zone located between the city centre of Tianjin and the coast.
